Eccleston & Heskin joined the Lancashire Evening Post Sunday Football League, Division 4 in Season 2007/08.
This followed 2 years in the LEPSFL Youth League.
Finishing in third place the team was promoted to Div 3 for season 2008/09.
A core of this team have progressed through the the age groups from under 11 to under 16 in the Central Lancashire Football League before the move into the LEPSFL.
Having lost a few of the long serving players to University life or early retirement, the teams has brought on board several other young players. The average of the team is 20.
The team is managed by Peter Vickers who is also a registered player who can take the benefit of his experience onto the pitch when required.
Peter is assisted by Jim MacKenzie who was manager of the team for several years through the age groups and for the last 2 years in the youth league.
